Felipe Ceballos, better known as El Pipe (or Pipe Ceballos), is a Colombian musician, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist whose work spans alternative rock, indie pop, and experimental music. Born in Barranquilla, Colombia, he has built an international career collaborating with acclaimed artists including Zoé, Mr. Little Jeans, Taken By Trees, The Streets, Babe Shadow, Fatal Jamz, and Adanowsky.
In 1999, Ceballos relocated from Barranquilla to San Francisco, where he immersed himself in the city's vibrant independent music scene. During this period, he founded and produced projects including The May Fire, Lemon Sun, and He's My Brother She's My Sister, while also contributing as a producer and collaborator on recordings by artists such as Mr. Little Jeans, Taken By Trees, and Adanowsky. His distinctive production style combines rich textures, inventive arrangements, and melodic sensibility, earning him recognition across multiple musical genres.
Now based in Mexico City, El Pipe continues to work as both a studio producer and touring musician, most notably collaborating with the acclaimed Mexican rock band Zoé.
